As if not to be outdone by the auroras on Tuesday night, yesterday afternoon we had a gorgeous display of nacreous clouds. So I finally got a halfway decent photo of them, though to be honest this conveys just about 20% of their otherworldly fantastitude.

Nacreous clouds over Hut Point at about 4:30 pm... remember how less than two weeks ago in my photos taken at the same time of day it was night already? We're gaining about 20 minutes of daylight per day. Yes, per day.
